David Sidley is a British photographer, born in 1988 in the Midlands, where he still lives. He started to develop his skills in photography at 14, and has since completed a National Diploma in the field, and is currently in his final year of studying for a BA Honours in Photography at Staffordshire University.
The majority of David's work is focussed around his personal core interests that he explores visually; human interaction and the man-altered/constructed world. These interests draw David to areas of dense human population, and the majority of his photographs are captured within the cities of Britain.
David mostly enjoys presenting his work in the form of photo books, enjoying the capabilities of narrative and the possibilities created from the ordering of photographs; the dictation of order, David feels, is paramount to the success of a body of photographic work.
Currently, David is working to expand his bibliography, and is in production of a photo book with the working title Drift.
